Patchwork
We stock over 1000 bolts of patchwork fabrics including the
full range of Moda Marbles and an extensive range of Thimbleberries
fabric. Also included in the range of fabrics from RJR, Benartex,
Debbie Mumm, Meme’s Quilts, VIP, Hoffman and many many
more. Several novelty cushion panels and cot panels from Disney
are also stocked.
Supporting our range of fabric are lots of patterns, books
and magazines, Olfa cutting mats and rotary cutters, template
plastic, batting, quilt backings, calicos including quilter’s
muslin, thread, hangers, craft buttons and so on.
We have a large range of Clover sewing and quilting tools
and accessories.
Fabric
We specialise in event wear fabrics, fabrics that will
take you from day wear through to evenings out. Also
stocked are a great range of bengaline fabrics - a great
slightly stretchy fabric suitable for skirts, pants
and jackets and very popular for work attire. A large
range of polar fleece is also stocked during winter
months along with a selection of fabrics for local school
uniforms and many other fabrics for shirts, children
and general use. |

Haberdashery
etc
An extensive range of haberdashery is carried, supported by
a large range of zips, buttons, Mettler and Molnlycke threads,
shoulder pads, linings, interfacings, McCalls, Butterick, Burda
and Kwik Sew fashion patterns.

Needlecraft
Both DMC and Anchor stranded threads are stocked along
with a selection of Perle 8 threads from both companies.
Around 30 hoops, patterns, books and cross stitch kits
and Mill Hill beads. |
Knitting
Patons, Cleckheaton and Shepherd knitting wools and yarns
make a very colourful display on our shelves. Yarns stocked
include the very popular Feathers and Ostrich and an extensive
range of baby yarns both traditional and novelty. A good range
of patterns, knitting and crochet needles and accessories
are also in stock.
Bear
Making
Teddy bear kits designed by both Bear Zerk and Furtex are
available along with a range of fur fabrics, patterns, joints,
eyes, noses etc.
Scrapbooking
and Cardmaking
Newly added to the stock at Bernina Sewing Centre is
a stand of resin, tin and wooden embellishments for
scrapbooking and cardmaking projects. Many of the embellishments
can also have button backs added making them suitable
for embellishing quilts and wallhangings. We also stock
over 60 Bazzil Card stock colours along with papers
and lots of other accessories. |

Bits
and pieces
Other craft and sewing items on our shelves include felt,
both by the piece and by the metre, a large selection of beads,
jewelry findings and associated accessories, chenille, pom
poms, tassels, bag handles, smocking dots, sewing boxes, stencils,
curtain tapes, beautifully made and locally sourced wedding
horseshoes, slippers and garters……………...
